Sport Brings People Together. I believe that sports have the power to bring people together under any circumstances. The citizens of the United States are diverse in many different ways. There are only certain things that have the power to bring people together, and I believe that sports are one of them. My father’s side of the family is an example of the diversity of America.
Lastly, another time I experienced sports bring people together was this summer in Fiji. Surprisingly, the most memorable and missed moment I spent their, was playing soccer. It surprised me because I had not played soccer in years. At the base house I stayed at, they had a full sized soccer field. At night, it was covered in frogs and pitch black.
Sports for years have brought people together in America and all around the world. I believe sports can bring people around the world together even though we are so far apart. Sporting events such as the Olympics and the World Cup soccer tournament bring nations together to compete not in war but in games and events.
